Donna Lee joined the St. Vrain and Left Hand Water Conservancy District staff in May of 2019. Donna has called Colorado home since the age of 5 and enjoys spending time communing with nature in the beautiful Rocky Mountains especially Telluride where her son resides.
Donna has a long history of public service through the various administrative roles she has held in the private and public sectors including AT&T/Lucent Technologies/Avaya as well as state, county and city government entities. Serving organizations that provide educational opportunities to the community has been the highlight of her career whether with the State Board for Community Colleges, Vocational Agriculture/FFA, Department of Education/Conservation Education, Division of Wildlife/Ecological Services, participating in the Avaya Native American Math Camp, or participating in school programs encouraging students to stick with schooling.
Being a lifelong learner herself, she accepted the position of Office Manager for the District with a passion to assist the organization and Executive Director in accomplishing their mission that includes offering the community programs in water education. As the mother of two, a son and daughter and grandmother to two grandsons, Donna believes water needs to continue to be protected and managed not just for current consumers but for future generations as well. Donna is honored to be part of an organization that serves as stewards of one of our most precious natural resources – our water.
