Christopher Smith was appointed to the St. Vrain and Left Hand Board of Directors on November 11, 2013, and elected Vice President on September 11, 2017.

Chris is currently the General Manager at Left Hand Water District where he has worked since 2000 holding other positions including District Engineer and Operations Manager. He has a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado and an Masters of Science in Management from Colorado State University.

In addition to his work with the Saint Vrain and Left Hand Water Conservancy District and Left Hand Water District, Christopher is President of the Lefthand Watershed Oversight Group Board. He has been heavily involved in water treatment and distribution, operations, infrastructure design, planning, supply management, water quality and conservation.
