Jason A. Roudebush
Water Resources Specialist
St. Vrain and Left Hand Water Conservancy District
Jason will be joining the St. Vrain and Left Hand Water Conservancy District in July of 2020. He grew up in Arvada, Colorado and attended Colorado State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and a master’s degree in Watershed Science. Prior to joining the District, Jason had been working in the non-profit sector for Ducks Unlimited developing and constructing water infrastructure projects with a wildlife nexus in Colorado, Wyoming, and Nebraska.
Jason enjoys the collaborative approach to addressing Colorado’s complex water challenges and serves as a voting member of the South Platte Basin Roundtable. He understands the importance of working in both the rural and urban communities to leverage resources and build multi-benefit partnerships that further water management in the face of a growing population and uncertain climate.
As an avid outdoorsman, Jason has a passion for public lands hunting and fishing throughout the west. He enjoys floating our western river systems in a raft, hiking deep into the backcountry, and pursuing upland birds with his small munsterlander, Duke.
