Jonathan Moore was appointed to the St. Vrain and Left Hand Water Conservancy District (“District”) Board of Directors on November 1, 2021. Drawing on decades of work in land use, natural resource management, land and water conservation and renewable energy, Jonathan has a proven track record facilitating public & private partnerships to preserve Colorado’s unique agricultural and natural landscapes. Early in his career, Jonathan served as deputy director for a statewide land conservation organization facilitating numerous collaborative partnership between local, state and federal agencies, utilities, energy entrepreneurs and farm and ranch owners.
Jonathan and his wife, Katharine, own a homestead farm irrigating under the Left Hand/New Table Mountain Ditch systems. In his spare time, Jonathan enjoys hiking, biking, skiing, woodworking and traveling with his family. Jonathan has a Masters of Climate Change & Development, Masters of Community and Regional Planning and a Bachelor of Science, Economics.
